The two outside drivers are angled at 6 degrees. This was developed to work in conjunction with the APL Bass System to arrive as one focused point source.

The Cabinet is a minimum of 3/4" thick mdf with a solid build weighing over 90lbs after completion. Internally every driver is in it's own dedicated chamber including the crossover to guarantee no interactions between other drivers. The cabinet is then lined with a proprietary resonance damping process. Why doesn't the competition display what is inside their Loudspeakers? Mainly due to their lack of parts quality and build, and many use complex filtered crossover networks that rob the essence of the musical source.

The Drivers are a combination of companies such as Vifa and Seas, with a proprietary custom upper mid driver to complement the carbon fiber sub frequency driver. The NSR Sonic loudspeaker is capable of cleanly producing the lowest known note of a Steinway concert grand Piano at 27.5 Hz. The Patented APL Bass System is solely responsible for this grand feat, especially in such a compact enclosure standing at just under 4ft.

The Finalized Crossover uses well made Auricaps and Vishay Resistors, the very good Erse Super Inductor as well as high quality air coil inductors with only 2 capacitors in the signal path.

You will hear highly detailed music from this brilliantly designed loudspeaker and its seamless pure Xover. There are no Zobel networks or notch filters used to corrupt the purity of the incoming signal with the 2-way, 4-driver systems or the 3-way, 7-driver flagship models.

If your electronics are up to it, we offer a Reference Xover that will flesh out nuances in recordings to improve the sound quality.

The parts quality is the finest available in the world using the Duelund Carbon Resistors, and a choice of the new Mundorf Silver Oil Gold Capacitors or the superb hand built Duelund Copper Foil Capacitors.

The inductors are made with the excellent Solen Hepa Litz.  Wiring for all models is made with a special Audiophile grade multi-strand and multi-gauge copper. All NSR loudspeakers use only point to point wiring, absolutely no circuit boards that add time distortions in the circuit. We feel this crossover is better than competing brands even $30k+ loudspeakers. We refuse to use circuit boards that rob current flow and ultimate dynamics.
