This is the newest Loudspeaker in the WLM line that is part of a multi award winning design utilizing the Superb Visaton drivers from Germany and technologies borrowed from their flagship models.
These Loudspeakers are an 8 ohm Loudspeaker and very efficient at over 93db 1w 1m 2v.
This Loudspeaker is completely hand built in Austria. The La Scala Loudspeaker was designed for uncompromising performance with very strict parameters and proprietary treated drivers of select matched pairs.

Superb tonal balance and great inner detail even at low volumes. The enclosed picture of the very simple crossover is there to show only one capacitor is used just as a high pass filter to the tweeter for a very open and smooth high frequency performance.
No networks are used whatsoever in the signal path. The Midbass-woofer is used full range with a very solid and articulate Bass.Quality of the cabinet design is based on the long Austrian tradition of working with wood; the cabinets are heavily braced and are a minimum of 1" thick, and very well damped. These speakers use very high quality Copper wiring that is hand soldered point to point, a special high purity long thread binding post is connected directly to the crossover for the best possible signal transfer.A very high quality Lpad tweeter adjustment is available to fine tune your room without any loss of fidelity.

The La Scala Floorstand and stand mount Loudspeakers are identical in design, cabinet dimensions and Bass loading methods are the only differences. The stand mount Loudspeaker has superb extended Bass and both loudspeakers have outstanding transparency with excellent imaging and detail. From a whisper to a crescendo these loudspeakers are all about the fidelity and soul of the music. This loudspeaker competes with Loudspeakers at much higher price points with ease as several high profile magazines have commented on at the latest Munich Audio show.
